Ahi Tuna Recipe – No Sear Spicy Maple Glazed

Ingredients
  

  • Tuna Marinade:
  • - 2 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • - 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • - 2 garlic cloves minced
  • - Juice of 1 lemon
  • - 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Tuna:
  • - 4 ahi tuna steaks sashimi-grade, 1-inch thick

Equipment

  • - Baking sheet
  • - Mixing bowl
  • - Whisk
  • - Tongs

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  2. Place tuna steaks in a dish or bag and pour marinade over.
  3. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 6 hours.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place tuna on lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.

No searing needed! This method keeps the tuna moist and flavorful while staying easy and healthy. Great with rice, salad, or citrus salsa.
